Data we collect
- Contact form submissions: name and email address, when you use our contact form (via WPForms), to respond to your message.
- Comments: if you leave a comment on a post, we collect the content of the comment, your name, email address, and IP address, used to display your comment and help detect spam (via Antispam Bee). Your comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognise follow-up comments from you.
- Media uploads: Images uploaded to this site may contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). We take care not to publish personal location metadata in our own photos; visitors should be aware any image can be downloaded and inspected for such data.
- Cookies: YouTube videos embedded on this site may set cookies when played, per YouTube’s own policy. If you comment, you may opt to save your name, email, and website in a cookie for your convenience on future comments; this lasts one year.
Third-party services
- We use WPForms (contact form) and YouTube (video embeds). Each has its own privacy policy governing data they process independently of us.
Your rights (GDPR)
